R.I.P. Vic

Many famous people died this year (Michael Jackson, David Carradine, Les Paul and so many others) but no one of them made my eyes wet, but this not-so-popular songwriter did: Vic Chesnutt died this christmas day.

He's the writer of one song, which is part of the soundtrack of my life: guilty by association (this link leads to the same song, but different lyrics "yesterday, tomorrow and today").

One of the saddest songs ever written!

[Edit: unfortunately this song has been removed from youtube. But I found another example of a sad sad song from Vic: Flirted With You All My Life]

I flirted with you all my life.
Even kissed you once or twice.
And to this day, I swear it was nice,
But clearly I was not ready.

When you touched a friend of mine,
I thought I would lose my mind.
But I found out with time that really, I was not ready.
Oh death. Oh death. Oh death. Really Im not ready.
